My group consisting of Joshua Reeves, Tom Bowman and Myself have decided to take on the task of creating a film teaser trailer. The task brief is shown below:
2. A promotion package for a new film, to include a teaser trailer, together with two of the following three options:
- a website homepage for the film;
- a film magazine front cover, featuring the film;
- a poster for the film.
The two ancillary tasks we have chosen to do alongside the main task of creating the trailer are the film magazine cover, featuring the film and the poster for the film as apposed to the website. We decided to use these two media formats as they play to our strengths more than that of a website. All the members of our group also have extensive knowledge involving programs like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign which we would most likely use to produce these ancillary tasks.
